Sixty seven aspirants have so far confirmed their participation in the forthcoming Orange Democratic Movement-ODM party elections set for next month.
The party’s chief executive officer Magarer Langat says the aspirants have shown interest in different party seats that are up for grabs in the coming party national delegate’s convention.
Speaking to the press after touring the Kasarani stadium the venue of the convention, Langat has revealed that the deadline to submit application forms has been extended to end of this month.
Langat says those in the Diaspora will also participate in the elections with five representatives including 100 observers and 100 invited guests from across the world to witness the elections that will also see a fundraiser to finance it held on the 6th of February.
