Defending Premier League Champions Gor Mahia takes on Nairobi City Stars in a midweek match on Thursday 20th February in their opening match of the 2014 season at the City Stadium.
Kogalo comes into this match on the back of a win from Gabon in the CAF Champions League and this will help them start the campaign to defend the title with confidence.
However Gor players may be tired after a grueling battle in West Africa and this could force Coach Bobby Williamson to juggle around his squad giving those who did not travel an opportunity to play.
City Stars will also be chasing a positive start as they seek to finish the league in a respectable position while avoiding the struggles of trying to beat off relegation at the last day of the league.
City stars having a full squad to pick from, Gor Mahia’s trio of Erick Ochieng’, Anthony Akumu and Musa Mohammed are racing against time to be fit for the contest.
Tickets will be available at the Diamond Trust Bank Branches, Nation Centre (Western Union Centre), Ronad Ngala, Wabera Street and T Mall.
Other alternatives include Ngao Credit Limited Moi Avenue opposite Ibrahims Supermarket, Donholm pharmacy, JKS Comms at Uchumi Jogoo Road, Chapacom Buruburu, Jimad at Hurlingham.
The Match Starts 1500 GMT+3
