The Orange Democratic Movement has condemned an attempted burglary at its party headquarters which left a security guard admitted to hospital with serious injuries on the head.
ODM Director for Memberships Rosemary Kariuki told a media briefing, that security guard was attacked by four assailants carrying crude weapons as he was responding to commotion near the main office.
Party officials confirmed that nothing was stolen during the 3.40am incident as another guard who had been immobilized manage to break free and raise an alarm for help.
The party has urged its members and Kenyans at large not to engage in speculation and allow the police to complete its investigation on the motive of the attack
