Starehe Boys Centre principal Paul Mugo was this morning sent on forced leave following the school’s poor KCSE results.
The accounts officer and the executive assistant to the director were also sent on forced leave by the school’s management committee.
Making the announcemnet to the press, the school’s executive director Matthew Kithyaka said Deputy principal Peter Ndungu will be in charge of the institution as the school scouts for a new head.
The school dropped from position 12 in the 2012 KCSE to position 17 nationally in last year’s exam with a mean grade of 74.757, which translates to a B+.
