Police have arrested at least 657 suspects in a night raid conducted in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area after yesterday’s grenade attack.
The grenade that was lodged in a food cafeteria killed six people and injured 31 others.
In a statement sent to newsrooms by Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Ole Lenku, the minister stated that the operation will continue until the suspects are brought to book.
Those injured were rushed to a nearby hospital and others taken to the Kenyatta National Hospital.
The incident happens just a day after an assailant was killed in Eastleigh when the explosive device he was assembling went off.
