Governors have called for an end of the political wrangling that is among the officials of the devolved government in order to achieve development.
Machakos county governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has cited the cycle of wrangles between the Senate and the Governors as the biggest hindrance to infrastructural development.
Speaking at the governors’ conference Mutua says most county projects are stalling because of leaders in the county governments who are still stuck in the old crooked ways of doing things.
Mutua made this statement against a backdrop of criticism by the President on the conference which he saw as a waste of public resources.
