I thought this day would never come; the day when one of the biggest gospel groups reunites on stage, too bad that the reunion was short lived. Yesterday, gospel sensation MOG or the newly re-branded Thee MOG shortly reunited for a performance during Kaberere’s memorial concert.
The trio reunited to perform their hit single “Wedding Day”. According to them this song was released on behalf of Kaberere and his wife during their wedding day. Tony who had left the group to pursue further studies also narrated how Kaberere mentored them to where they are and how he actually helped them with their dresscode in their ‘Zig Zig’ video shoot.
Tony could not help but breakdown while he narrated how close he and the late Kaberere were. Peter Kaberere passed away after a freak accident last Saturday. He is being late to rest today at the Langata cemetry. May his Soul Rest in peace.
