Nairobi River
A youth group from Dandora has initiated a beautification and conservation project aimed at restoring Nairobi Rivers lost glory.
Through the community reserved brothers, the group this morning planted trees at the bank of a section of the river that passes through Dandora.
Shakesphere Anyango one of the group members who spoke to ghetto radio on phone says the project intends to change the perception of Dandora from a dumpsite area to a tourist attraction site.
Anyango is however calling for governments support to help them fund the project initially started by the late environment minister John Michuki.
