If you thought that it’s only in Kenya where ladies have a problem with ‘house helps’ then you are mistaken…even in Jamaica the situation is no different ,but unlike us, it does not involve husband snatching!!
Well… things are not looking up for DEEJAY Lady Saw after one of her house helps was mauled by dogs at her upper St. Andrew home and had to be hospitalized for a month, that was in 2009, but now the court wants her to part with $1.5 million with interest for the damages!
Yes…after years of dragging, the case has finally been brought to an end with Justice Leighton Pusey awarding 64-year-old Dorothy Wilson $1.5 million with interest during an assessment of damages hearing in the Supreme Court, unfortunately, Lady Saw has refused to pay her!
Poor…Dorothy Wilson, she was left with over 20 bites when the approximately 10 dogs finally relented, and she had to spend five weeks in University Hospital of West Indies, how hurting…talk of pets!!!
