All is well at the Harambee stars training camp ahead of their Monday international friendly against the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
The team got a boost when Southampton Midfielder Victor Mugubi joined them at Kasarani in their morning training.
Coach Bobby Williamson said that the team will miss the services of Jesse Were who is out injured and Timothy Otieno who is out ill.
The coach praised Mugubi for turning up for training saying the player showed his hunger to represent the national team.
“ I expected Mugubi to turn up for training yesterday , I was surprised to see him here that gesture shows professionalism and am happy about that,” he said.
Despite having missing key strikers the Scottish said that Denis Oliech will not be part of the team saying that may be he will consider the Stars talisman in future assignment.
”Denis is a good player but in life sometimes you has to move on, “he lamented. He praised the 19 year old saying at 29 still has a lot to offer.
Oliech, 29, turned up uninvited for training with the squad Tuesday despite the fact he is not in Williamson’s plans.
Stars’ will travel to Morocco on Friday evening and will play in an international friendly match on Monday evening. The Coach will name the final squad for the trip on Friday .
