President Uhuru Kenyatta has today led Kenyans in marking the fourth Mashujaa Day since the promulgation of the Constitution in August 2010.
The president’s speech was dominated by the achievements his government has made since it came into power.
Of significance was the Nyumba kumi initiative which he lauded for playing a big role in combating crime in the country.
On his government’s development agenda, the president has promised to connect electricity in each primary school by 2015 and tarmac 10,000km of roads countrywide in the next four years.
The head of state has further urged leaders in the country to shun divisive politics and instead focus on bringing Kenyans together for the betterment of the country.
