When the Luhya language proved quite tough for this odiero from Germany to learn, he decided to use actions to win the heart of his future mother – in law.
And nothing else would blow away any mother in law like a man who travels down in Chavovo Village in Vihiga County and gets down on his feet to ask for her daughter’s hand in marriage.
Ralf Wolfram not only knelt down to get his girl but he also had to blend in with the villagers by walking barefooted and taking the cows for grazing.
But all said and done, he finally won the heart of his mother in law and was given the go ahead to marry the girl.
