The government will install Ebola detection machines at airports and ports of entry to enhance detection of people with the virus and other viruses.
Director of Medical Services Nicholas Muraguri says the automated infrared thermo scan machines will intensify screening of passengers and ensure no outbreak of Ebola in the country.
Apart from the Ebola detection machines, Muraguri says the government has taken measures to build capacity of health officials in identifying suspected cases.
In addition the government has also set up systems for Ebola surveillance and case management in health facilities through the established National Ebola Task Force and the Multi-agency co-ordination team.
