Collins Omondi with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House
President Uhuru Kenyatta today in Statehouse met Collins Omondi a.k.a Jaduong an artist who drew his picture draped in Military gear.
During their meet up, Omondi presented the president with his prolific work of art that has got many people talking.
Reports indicate that upon setting eyes on the drawing, the president got excited and asked Omondi to present to him the drawing in person.
“I saw a strange number calling me and when i picked the call, i was shocked to find out that it is the president. He sounded so happy and was joking all about the photo in Swahili and then he asked me to give him the drawing,” Omondi told a local TV station in an earlier interview.
And true to the president’s word, Omondi met the President today at Statehouse and presented him with the drawing.
