A man has been jailed for four years for cutting his son’s ear and forcing him to drink blood from the wound.
James Sishia Wanda is said to have cut his six year old son’s right ear claiming he had stolen his money.
He then drew the blood in a basin and forced the boy to drink it.
The boy did not however drink the blood.
The court found him guilty of grievous bodily harm and subjecting the boy to cruel treatment.
He committed the offence on June 29 2014 at Mathare 4B in Nairobi County.
