Cord leader Raila Odinga has conducted an inspection tour of Kibera slums to inspect the slum upgrade project.
Raila was accompanied by hundreds of supporters when he went to visit the project he started while he was still the Member of Parliament of Kibra Constituency.
During his visit Raila called on the government to expedite the court case that stopped occupation of the new housing units.
Raila’s visit comes barely a week after President Uhuru Kenyatta made an impromptu visit in the area.
