Two Kenyatta University student were yesterday sentenced to death by a Kisumu court for murdering Lilian Kerubo a 30 – year old bank employee.
In a legal tussle that has lasted about 15 years, justice was finally delivered to Kerubo’s family who described her as the only bread winner.
Kevin Mosoti a third year Bachelor of Education student and Ronals Ondieki a second year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology could not hold back tears as Chief Magistrate Esther Maina delivered her judgement.
The Court was told how the accused differed with Kerubo on that fateful night before her body was found in a pool of blood in her one bedroom house in Kisii town.
