A 15 year old boy was charged in a Makueni court for defiling a two year old girl.
The boy, who appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Mellany Achieng, denied defiling the girl contrary to Sexual Offences Act of 2006.
He also faced an alternative charge of indecently assaulting the minor.
The prosecution told the court the accused on October 7, 2014 defiled the girl at her home in West Ngosini village, Makueni County.
The prosecutor said the mother of the minor was related to the accused and that during the committing of the offence, the accused was staying at the minor’s home.
The magistrate ordered the boy to remain in custody until a probation report is tabled before the court.
The case will be heard on November 19, 2014.
