Clerk of the National Assembly Justin Bundi says he is inviting the public to submit views on the suitability of Kajiado Central MP Joseph Nkaiserry as Kenya’s Interior Ministry cabinet secretary
Bundi says interested members of the public should submit any representation by written statement on oath before Wednesday next week.
The National Assembly Committee on Appointments will subsequently vet Nkaiserry to determine his suitability for the position.
President Uhuru Kenyatta nominated Nkaissery to the docket on Tuesday following increasing pressure for Kimaiyo and Lenku to quit office after numerous terrorist attacks in the country.
