A number of activists of occupy parliament protests were today arrested by police while holding a peaceful demo against the controversial security bill outside parliament building.
The activists who were singing protest songs while seated were shoved into police vans and whisked to an unknown destination by the police.
Earlier in the day the police had said they will not allow anyone to block roads around parliament building and adjacent streets.
Protests against the controversial security bill saw members of parliament resort to fists and fights over the disagreements.
Chaos got Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama an injury on the leg and also a torn trouser.
