Doctors at Moi Hospital Voi have confirmed Wednesday that the unclaimed body at the hospital’s mortuary is that of ICC’s witness Meshack Yebei.
This comes five days after Yebei’s family identified the unclaimed body as that of their missing kin.
The body is reported to have been lying at the hospital’s mortuary since December 30th, prompting DNA tests to be conducted to confirm the identity.
This is the second body Yebei’s family is laying claim on after DNA results early this year revealed that the body the family had positively identified as that of Yebei belonged to someone else.
