Korogocho ward Member of County Assembly Maxwel Ochar was early today shot by unknown gunman at his home in Riverside.
According to Babadogo ward representative Shadrack Juma, Ochar was shot on the arm and chest early today when he was entering his car from the house.
The Gunman however managed to escape.
The ward Representative was taken by his family to Gurunanak Hospital and later Aga Khan Hospital for treatment.
The reason for his shooting has not been revealed yet.
