
Thirteen matches were played this weekend as the SportPesa Super 8 Soccer Tournament approaches the constituency level finals.
On Friday 1st in Dagoretti Waithaka Babes FC beat Gachui Black Boots 3-1 to qualify for the quarters while Melta Kabiria beat Amani Yassets 3-1 to qualify for the semi-finals. These matches were played at the Ngong Posta Grounds.
In Westlands (Quarters) – Kihumbuini Stadium in Kangemi
1. RYSA FC 2-0 Winners Chapel FC
2. Vision FC 1-1 Kabete United. The latter won 4-3 on post-match penalties.
3. Shamako Babes 1-1 WYSA. The former won 3-2 on post-match penalties.
4. Kibagare United 1-1 Leeds United. The latter won 4-2 on post-match penalties.
RYSA, Kabete United, Shamako Babes and Leeds United therefore qualified for the semifinals.
Sunday 3rd May in Dagoretti (Quarters) –
1. Impala 2-1 Makombora
2. Congo Youth 1-2 Riruta Muslim FC
3. Kawangware United 3-1 Waithaka Babes.
In Dagoretti region, Impala will face Melta Kabiria while Kawangware United will play Riruta Muslim in the constituency level semifinals slated for this coming weekend.
Westands (Semifinals) – Kihumbuini Stadium in Kangemi
1. Kabete United 4-1 RYSA FC
2. Leeds United 1-2 Shamako Babes
Kabete United will now face Shamako Babes in the Westands Constituency final while Leeds United will face RYSA United in the third place play-off.
Kasarani – (Semifinals) Baba Dogo Grounds
1. Lucky Summer FC 3-1 Metro Sports
2. Baba Dogo United 2-1 Githurai Sports
Lucky Summer will now face Baba Dogo United in the Kasarani constituency final while Metro Sports and Githurai Sports will battle for the third place.
