East Africa’s top band Sauti Sol has every reason to celebrate their nomination to this year’s BET Awards for Best African Act Category.
The band is currently riding high on music charts with their hit song “Nerea” that won them the nomination.
Sauti Sol happens to be the only East African artistes nominated in the Best African Act : facing off with Fally Ipupa (DR Congo), AKA (South Africa), Sarkodie (Ghana), The Soil (South Afrca), StoneBwoy (Ghana), Wizkid (Nigeria) and Yemi Alade (Nigeria) making them the East Africa star and proudly representing the region.
The successive band coincidentally left the country yesterday night for theirUSAtour.
The ‘Nerea’ team took to social media to express their delight in the achievement;
