Police collecting remains of the lynched thief in Mathare slums
Police spokesman Masoud Mwinyi has condemned the lynching of a suspected thief in Mathare’s Ngei Ward.
Mwinyi has termed the Sunday night incident unfortunate calling on the public to engage in community policing by reporting suspects to the police.
He warned that however will be caught undertaking such an act will be dealt with accordingly.
A suspect by the nick name Nick was on Sunday lynched to death by an angry mob in Mathare slums over allegations of terrorizing residents in the area.
