A one year old baby has been rushed to hospital after she surfered burns from a fire incident in Mathare slums.
Eye witness Mwarabu Shakiri says the baby was left in the house by her mother when the house caught fire.
National Youth Service quickly came to the rescue of the baby and put off the fire before it spread to other houses.
The fire is suspected to have been icaused by a cooking stove that was left burning.
The baby is however said not to have suffered major burns. She was taken to the Blue House hospital in Mathare.
