Night runners from Homa Bay County are demanding that the government recognise them under the ministry of sports and culture just like other sports.
Led by their Union leader the night runners from South Kabuoch and Ndhiwa say what they do is also a form of sport hence the demand for the recognition.
The night runners claim that the government can make a lot of money if they got officially recognized by the government.
“There are many sport that are registered by the government and we wonder why we as nightrunners can’t be recognised” their leader told The Standard.
