Five people died this morning in an accident involving a salon car and a trailer at Isinya along the Nairobi-Namanga highway.
The driver of the salon car was trying to overtake the lorry and realised there was another vehicle coming from the opposite direction and when he swerved back to his lane, he rammed onto a lorry that was ahead of him trapping all those who were on board.
Traffic commandant Charlton Muriithi said the five occupants who were onboard including two women died on the spotin the 2 am incident.
