There was drama at the Siaya County Assembly offices when a Member of County Assembly (MCA) stripped naked to protest claims that Deputy President William Ruto had insulted former Prime Minister Raila Odinga over the ongoing wrangles between the opposition and Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru.
Fredrick Ouda, the Central Gem MCA, stripped naked in his office after a parody twitter account bearing the name of the Deputy President accused Kibera youth of being insensitive and unreasonable when they set ablaze a toilet and a clinic constructed by the National Youth Service (NYS).
The fake twitter handle @WilliamRutoh tweeted: “Let them go back to their flying toilets, you can’t help a fly that wants to follow a corpse to the grave. #Kibera.”
The MCA issued a two week ultimatum to DP Ruto to apologise to the residents of Kibera and the country as a whole or else he will face the wrath of the Kenyans who are majority.
