Victor Wanyama’s brother Thomas Wanyama, brother makes his debut back to the Kenyan Premier League after six months out, as he joins Mathare United.
Wanyama who plays both as a defender and a winger, previously featured for Sofapaka and showed impressive results in training at Mathare United in the mid season break, he has been handed a one year deal.
His deal with 2008 champions was confirmed by the Mathare United Team Manager William Muluya who also revealed the club is on the verge of signing AFC Leopards midfielder Ezekiel Seda and former Gor Mahia man Edwin Lavatsa.
“Wanyama’s is a done deal. He has been training with us and we thought he impressed so he has been given a one year deal.
“We are now in the process of enlisting Seda and Lavatsa and I think soon their deals will be done and we are counting on them all to help us have a very good season,” he said.
