
And the fourth edition of the Masaku International Sevens Rugby tournament is finally here.The tournament is set to kick off today,3rd to 5th July 2015 at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.
As much as many fans are planning to be there,traffic is still a major worrying issues amongst large numbers after the third edition Masaku 7s gained a massive popularity in the country’s social platforms due to the traffic and majorly the ratchetness that was demostrated.
However,Governor Afred Mutua has come up with a strategy to carb the traffic nightmare that was experienced on last year’s edition.
“I welcome you to this years Masaku 7s Rugby fete, this weekend 3rd- 5th July at Machakos Stadium and People’s Park. Masaku 7s Traffic flow will feature one way, dual carriageway flow from Nairobi to Machakos. Return route only through Konza and Kangundo roads. No more traffic jams!!,” Mutua assured fans.
