Gospel industry must be where the money is at because no Kenyan secular artist has gone all out for a video the way these guys do. First we had Groove artist of the year Gloria Muliro, who allegedly spend Ksh 2 million on a video now we got gospel sensation Jimmy Gaits joining the millionaire league.
The “Furi furi” singer apparently spend over Ksh 1 Million on his new video that is set to be released this weekend exclusively on Trace. The single dubbed “Makeke’s” is a “Make it or Make it” project and will be his first single to attempt to break the international barrier.
In an interview, he did confirm that the video did cost him over Ksh 1 million to shoot but he believes that the message was worth it. The video was shot with the South Africa-based production label Godfather Productions.
Trace will launch the video on Sunday and will have full exclusivity for 10 days.
