Three suspected thugs, including a woman, were Friday morning shot dead by police after a botched robbery on a petrol station in Kayole.
Police say they recovered an AK47 rifle and pistol from the gang that had attacked a dealer of gas cylinders and escaped when police were informed.
The officers chased them for a short while before a gunfight broke out that left the three killed along the bypass connecting to Thika Road.
Two weeks ago, four other suspects were killed by police in the same area and weapons found on them.
