The 5-0 loss to Tusker FC has left Sofapaka defender Felly Mulumba in absolute shock.
Mulumba says that at the moment, shock is the best way to describe his feelings and that of his fellow teammates.
“I am still shocked. I have never seen a performance this bad from any Sofapaka side,” he said.
The brewers were in rampant form Saturday at the Machakos County Stadium where they saw off a side considered to be their bogey team in stunning fashion.
Jesse Were scored twice, with Eugene Asike and Noah Wafula also getting on the score-sheet in what was a great day for those in yellow and a poor day for those in white.
Despite two losses in a row, Sofapaka are still fourth in the KPL table and looking to finish as high as possible.
“We have not had a great season but it has also not been too bad and as long as we can try our best in the remaining 11 matches, we will be fine,” he believes.
