Football Kenya Federation have issued notice for the third Annual General Meeting.
Conspicuously missing from the notice is the venue for the meeting. The notice signed by FKF Secretary General Michael Esakwa has listed expulsion of former Coast NEC Member Hussein Terry and suspension of former Nairobi Branch chairman Dan Shikanda as part of the agenda.
“Formal convocation is hereby given that the third Annual General Meeting of Football Kenya Federation will be held in Nairobi on August 28, 2015 at 10.00am,” read part of the statement.
The third AGM was scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2015, in Kisii but was postponed by FKF President Sam Nyamweya due to insecurity and after disagreement on the mode of verification of genuine delegates.
The absence of information on the venue has raised eyebrows among a number of delegates, who view it as a ploy to bring in bogus delegates to vote for proposals that will entrench the status quo.
