Ghetto Radio staff on Tuesday paid tribute to their former colleagues who lost her life in the 2009 Nakumatt Downtown fire.
Angela Wainaina also known as Angel was among the 27 people who suddenly lost their lives in the January 28 fire.
During the entire day the Ghetto Radio Show Hosts played tribute songs to the late Angel and also did mentions regarding the memorial.
Angel’s former colleague and Chanuka Dada Show co-host Linda Ochanda remembered her a a quite person who loved her job very much.
“Angel was very a very hard working lady who gave her job so much concentration. It took us quite a while to accept the fact that she had left us,” says Linda.
Angel’s former fiancee had nothing much to say but only that she had sweet memories of his sweet Angel.
A section of Ghetto Radio staff members headed down to the where the Supermarket used to be and laid a wreath of flowers in her memory.
