Arsenal French International Olivier Giroud has finally admitted to cheating on his wife with model Celia Kay after a picture taken by the model in his hotel room was printed in the Sun Newspaper on Sunday.
Giroud who had consistently denied to taking Kay to the Four Seasons Hotel in Canary Wharf the night before they played Crystal Palace finally admitted to his crime via Twitter.
The Arsenal striker through his Twitter handle apologized to his club and wife Jennifer who gave birth to their son Paul last June.
Celia Kay who models for international magazines such as Maxim and FHM, was pictured arriving at the hotel in Canary Wharf at 12:50 am and leaving at 3:04am that night, Giroud was to be fined 230,000 pounds but he denied the matter only to admit later.
Arsene Wenger asked about Giroud’s incident said he does respect his privacy and will have to deal with the matter internally as human is to error.
Wenger however insisted that on a possibility of a fine to be implemented on the said player.
Giroud’s wife Jennifer on Sunday had to shut her twitter account after torrent of tweets offering advice on how to deal with the situation poured. She however decided.
