There’s a saying that goes ‘better the foot slip than the tongue’ and this is a proverb that Pope Francis will remember for a long time.
The Argentinian had a tongue ‘accident’ where he mistakenly unleashed the F word in Italian while giving his blessings from the Vatican.
Within a blink of the eye this simple and yet not simple slip of the tongue was posted on Italian websites, YouTube and from there on it went went viral.
The pope said ‘cazzo’ which is an Italian profanity meaning F*** instead of the word ‘caso’ which means example.You might wonder who mistakes the word example with f*** right? But apparently the word caso and cazzo is like a tongue twister for those not used to speaking Italian.
Here’s the translated version of the speech “If each one of us does not amass riches only for oneself, but half for the service of others, in this f**k… in this case the providence of God will become visible through this gesture of solidarity,”
