A new survey indicates that at least 34 per cent of Kenyans sometimes go to bed hungry.
The survey conducted by Research Firm Ipsos Synovate revealed that Nyanza region had the highest numbers of households with individuals going to bed hungry followed by North Eastern Region.
Nairobi Region had 27 per cent while Central Region had 12 per cent only.
Iposos Synovate Research analyst Tom Wolf stated that majority of the respondents 50 per cent of the respondents mentioned high cost of living as the most serious problem facing Kenya today.
The survey also revealed that quite a number of Kenyans were disappointed in the direction the jubilee government was headed to.
