Traders at the Gikomba market are trying to rebuild their Business after a fire razed part of the busy market destroying property of unknown value on Tuesday night.
Violet Anyango who spoke to Ghetto Radio News is distraught as the fire destroyed her property.
Anyango a clothes vendor lost goods worth 130,000 in the night inferno.
She is calling on the government to shelve its intention of building a road that passes through the busy market or alternatively give them a place to carry out their businesses.
Other traders on their part called on the government to come to their aid and help them revive their businesses.
The fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault. Other traders however suspected arson as the cause of the fire.
