Migori governor Okoth Obado is the latest to lose his seat after the Court of Appeal nullified his election.
A three-judge bench sitting in Kisumu said Friday that there were tallying errors realised in the election that compromised the quality of the election.
Obado’s rival Prof Edward Oyugi from the ODM party filed a petition at the High Court.
Prof Oyugi lost his bid to overturn the election last year justice Esther Maina said that, even though there were tallying errors realised in a court recount and admitted by the IEBC, there weren’t enough reasons to overturn the election.
