A spectacular long range shot by Manchester defender Patrice Evra put the visitors ahead but that was short lived as goals by Mario Mandzukic, Thomas Muller and Arjen Robben was enough to see Bayern through to them advance
They now join Chelsea who beat Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid who won their matches on Tuesday in the Friday’s draw.
