
The Kenya medical association has launched a four month cancer campaign targeting children in a bid to tackle the number one killer disease in the country.
The campaign dubbed Children for Children Cancer Campaign is aimed at assisting underprivileged children with cancer related ailments access treatment countrywide.
The associations chair Elly Nyaim says the campaign will improve public awareness rates to enable those affected tackle it when it’s too early.
Nyaim has further called upon the Government and other stakeholders to join together in a bid to tackle the disease especially amongst children.
