President Uhuru Kenyatta left the country on Tuesday morning for Lusaka, Zambia, to attend the burial of the late President Michael Sata.
President Sata will be laid to rest on Tuesday at the Embassy Park — the burial site for Zambian presidents where two other leaders, Levy Mwanawasa and Fredrick Chiluba, were buried.
The Zambian leader died on October 28 at 77 years while undergoing treatment in London.
In his condolence message to the government and people of Zambia, President Kenyatta described the late Zambian president as an exceptional leader gifted with unique, admirable abilities and strong values.
