Calls by Maendeleo Ya Wanaume Chairman Nderitu Njoka urging men to boycott sex today has received mixed reactions from men.
However a section of those interviewed say they will go on strike to instill some discipline in their women who have also heeded to such calls in the past.
“Women have in the past heeded to such calls before, and if this is what is going to make them stop the domestic violence then i will do it,” quipped one man.
Those opposed to Njoka say they fear wrecking their marriages by heeding to calls from a man looking for fame.
“Am a self proclaimed lover boy, so there is no way in the world i am going to boycott sex today,” said one.
“Immediately after i work i will go to my wife and fulfill our conjugal rights,” he added
Njoka last week called on men in the country to boycott sex, kissing or coming in contact in with there spouses today when marking the Internationa Men’s Liberty day.
Njoka told Ghetto Radio News that in Marking the day, Kenyan men,married or single should keep off women as a protest towards te rise of gender violence against men.
