
The Kenya National Examinations Council has announced that the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examination results will be released on December 29.
In a statement to newsrooms KNEC CEO Joseph Kivilu says for parents to access the results; they will be required to send the candidate index number via SMS to 22252 immediately results are released.
Kivilu said the candidates with withheld results will receive a letter through their respective head teachers explaining why the result has been retained.
Over 800,000 candidates sat the examinations in 24,000 centres across the country.
The results will be announced by Education Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi.
