Sixty three year old Nigeria’s Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole alias Osho Baba, on Friday got married to 36 year old Cape Verdean model turned hostess, Lara Fortes.
The governor and his bride celebrated their union at a private marriage registry attended only by family and a few friends at his Iyamho residence.
They were later led by Nigeria’s President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, to the wedding reception held at the People’s White Hall in the governor’s country home.
The Vice President-elect, Prof Yemi Osinbajo and his wife Dolapo were also part of the top dignitaries who also graced the ceremony.
Oshiomhole lost his first wife Clara in December 2010 after a long fight with cancer. She was 54 years old.
