A section of Nairobi members of County Assembly are now opposing the huge allocation of the public funds for beautification of the Nairobi city pending Obamas’ visit to the country.
In an exclusive interview with the Ghetto Radio News the Maringo Ward representative Njuguna Mwangi slammed the the county executive over the matter saying ksh.100 million allocated for the project could have done something better that benefits common mwanachi on ground.
On the other hand Mwangi stated that the current sh. 17 million ward development funds allocated to them is quite little for their development.
Njuguna instead prosed that the governmernt should allocate them ksh. 60m for them to perform best in their respective ward.
