Kenyan men are yet to embrace family planning despite the many reproductive health campaigns in the country.
A word on the street on Family planning conducted by Ghetto Radio revealed that men would not only want to use the male family planning methods but would also prefer that their wives do not use them
The biggest fears they had about family planning were the side effects that come with family planning and the traditional myths of impotence associated with family planning.
Robert Mwangi howver stated that he would rather his wife uses the family planning methods but not him.
” Family planning is a thing for women and not men so i would rather use the natural methods that expose my body to many pills,” said Mwangi.
On the other hand Tobias Ouma says his wife has been complaining of family planning side effects from headaches, being tired and even voting.
He says his wife’s experience with family planning has made him fear it.
