Nairobi County Women Representative Rachel Shebesh has joined other Jubilee leaders in supporting the ongoing Eastleigh Operation.
Shebesh describes the operation as mandatory that has been prompted by the residents’ lack of cooperation with the police in giving information about the terrorists.
Speaking in Pangani area the women representative however expressed concern over the manner in which women and children were being handled in the operation.
“I am not happy at all with the way women and children are being bundled up in vehicles and taken to Kasarani, but i support the government because this is the only option we have now to weed out these criminals,” said Shebesh.
She called for unity and cooperation among the locals saying it was the only way they could fight terrorism.
“We have refused to get united and report these criminals to the police hence the frustrations that are befalling us today,” she added.
